Tales & Travel Memories - Alaska Part 2

Tales and Travel Memories is a collaborative series between Fox Valley Memory Project and Appleton Public Library. On select Fridays 1:30-3:00 PM, we will explore various cultures through music, art, food, and more! This event is for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Registration is required. Each Tales & Travel Memories session will take place at the Goodwill Community Campus at 1800 Appleton Road Menasha, WI.

Each session is unique! Alaska, broadly nicknamed "The Last Frontier", is the 49th state of the United States but the only one that is parted from the other states by land. Its name derives from the Aleut word "Aleyska", which means "A great land".
